Gjende fra Gjendetunga GJENDETUNGA: 2-4 HOURS

Cross the bridge on the Fondsbu-path. After approx
200 mts (signpost: Gjendetunga) you take to left following the unmarked but visible path all the way to the summit. Partly steep, but with very nice scenery growing better and better.

For the descend one nice variation is to walk towards Grisletjornene down to Veslaadalen. Plenty of nice possibilities for fishing all the way.
BUKKELÆGERET: 2-4 HOURS

Along the north-shore of Gjende pass the ferry landing and towards Memurubu through an extreme variation and intensity of plants, trees and flowers. Very steep ascend on the marked trial to the edge og Memurutunga, offering magnificient wiews to the peaks on the other side of the lake.

The peaceful relatively flat landscape on top of Memurutunga is nice for fishing and relaxing walks. You may return by walking across it and down into Storaadalen.

Bukkelægeret
Svartdalspiggen SVARTDALSPIGGEN: 5 HOURS

The easy way of getting real high! (!) Follow the path to Torfinnsbu up to Svartdalsoksla. Just before you reach the first plateu turn to the right and you find a significant path partly marked with stone cairns, not with the usual red “T”. Follow this to the peak Nordre Svartdalspiggen. You can descend on the west side to Langedalen quite easily if you like, but no path there..
